To implement the agreed investment projects, it is planned to provide forest plots with an annual volume of timber harvesting of about 10 million m3. The enterprises where modernization is planned are located in the Arkhangelsk and Irkutsk regions, as well as the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

"In total, the Rosleskhoz Commission has considered 10 applications since the beginning of the year, 6 were sent for revision, 4 received a positive decision. The country's forest complex is gradually adapting to new realities. The Agency supported making changes to priority investment projects. First of all, this is necessary in order for the country's timber industry to develop and increase the volume of wood products produced. In the new economic realities of the timber industry, the usual sales markets are changing to new ones, the delivery time of equipment is increasing – companies are switching to domestic analogues. Our task is to support the forestry industry and jointly adapt it to the changes taking place," said Alexey Abramov, Head of the Federal State Forestry Supervision Department of the Federal Forestry Agency.

Recall that since September 1, 2023, the Federal Forestry Agency has been providing forest plots for investment projects, as well as conducting a state audit of forest development projects (POL) within the framework of investment projects.

So, in 4 months of this year, the department issued 81 positive decisions on passing the state examination of the floor. 12 lease agreements for forest plots were concluded in 5 subjects (Republic of Karelia, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Arkhangelsk, Vologda and Nizhny Novgorod regions) with an annual volume of 1.3 million m3 of timber harvesting.10:29
