Federal Law No. 96-FZ dated 04/22/2024 "On Amendments to Part Two of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation and Article 3 of the Federal Law "On Amendments to Part Two of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation and Article 1 of the Federal Law "On Amendments to Part Two of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation", including sub-paragraphs 14.1 and 16 Paragraph 1 of Article 193 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation has been amended, according to which the excise tax rates for certain alcoholic beverages have been adjusted.
So, from 05/01/2024 to 12/31/2024 inclusive, the excise tax rate for fortified (liqueur) wine, fortified wine in bulk is set at 141 rubles per 1 liter, for sparkling wines, including Russian champagne - at 119 rubles per 1 liter.
