Sedmoy Continent increased its net income by 69 percent over the year 2005 up to 1.33 billion rubles (US$47.1 million), the Company's press service said. Company's net revenue raised to 20.15 billion rubles (US$712.8 million).

The number of stores last year reached 111, the number of consumers widened 47 percent. As of March 15, 2006 the number of supermarkets amounted to 115.

During this year the Company plans to open about 25 supermarkets in Moscow and other regions as well as a number of stores "Our hypermarket" in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ryazan and Kaliningrad.
