OGK-4 OJSC has announced an open single-stage contest for a general contractor to build CCP-400 (combined-cycle plant) of the Shaturskaya GRES, the Company says.

The Company will conclude a general contractor contract with the winner on projecting, equipment and materials delivery, construction and putting into operation of a single-shaft combined-cycle power plant with electric capacity of 400 MW.

The investment project of CCP-400 at the Shaturskaya GRES was approved by RAO UES of Russia's Investment Committee. The project costs above RUB 10bn.

OGK-4 (the Fourth Wholesale Generating Company) was established on March 4, 2005, as a 100% subsidiary of RAO UES of Russia. The Company comprises the Surgutskaya GRES-2 OJSC, Berezovskaya GRES-1 OJSC, Shaturskaya GRES-5 OJSC, Smolenskaya GRES OJSC, Yayvinskaya GRES OJSC. The total authorized capital of OGK-4 companies is RUB 8.2 bn.

OGK-4 total installed capacity amounts to 863,000 MW.
