In August, SIBUR-Neftehim almost doubled its production figures in all kinds of products at the Petrochemical Plant in Kstovo and Ethylene Oxide and Glycols Plant in Dzerzhinsk, as the Company informs.

In August, the Petrochemical Plant in Kstovo processed 63.837 th tons of raw materials, which is 2-fold more that in August 2005. Ethylene production grew 2.2-fold to 21.905 th tons from 10.003 th tons; propylene production rose 2.07-fold to 10.574 th tons from 5.1 th tons.

The Ethylene Oxide and Glycols Plant in Dzerzhinsk processed 19.114 th tons of raw materials (ethylene) in August 2006, which is 2.33-fold more that for the same period of last year - 8.203 th tons.

The Caprolaktam Plant in Dzerzhinsk upped its production of liquid chlorine by 40.6% to 2.542 th tons from 1.808 th tons for the same period of 2005.

SIBUR-Neftehim was founded in December 1999 in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Its core business is producing and selling petroleum derivatives. The Company belongs to SIBUR-Holding OJSC.
