Renova Media and IBC "Mir" signed cooperation agreement.

The Closed Joint-Stock Company "Renova Media" and the Interstate broadcasting company "Mir" signed the cooperation agreement. It is spoken about in the report of Renova Media.

Under the contract provisions, broadcasting of IBC "Mir" will be conducted in cable networks of companies of the holding "Renova Media". Access to the telechannel was received by nearby 800ths subscribers of Renova Media, the potential spectator audience of the channel in Russia increased up almost 2.5mln persons.

The holding "Renova-Media" is created in 2006 by the group "Renova" belonging to the Russian businessman Victor Vekselberg (51% of the holding), and a number of private investors led by Y.Pripachkin (49%). Renova-Media supervises Moscow CableCom, the operator of communication of the Moscow region "Teleinform", owns the 50% share of the largest Belarusian cable operators "Kosmos-TV". Cost of the given actives is estimated in more than $700mln. The group of companies "Renova" owns nearby 75% of shares of Komkor.

Renova-Media renders services of cable television, high-speed access to Internet and telephony in the uniform package. The turn of the holding in 2006 made $200mln, the income of operators of communication - $30-35mln.

The Interstate broadcasting company "Mir" is formed in 1992 by the agreement of the heads of the CIS states-participants. Founders of the telechannel are: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. "Mir" broadcasts 18 hours a day (including at the own Internet-site on air) in the territory of Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kirghizia, Moldova. Through operators of radio and cable announcement programs of the telechannel are watched in more than 135 cities of Russia, Ukraine, regions of Baltic and Scandinavia.
