RAS net profit of JSC Moscow United Electric Grid Company for H1 2013 decreased by 45.44% to RUB 5.951 billion from RUB 10.907 billion the year before, the company reported.
Revenue grew by 7.1% to RUB 59.083 billion from RUB 55.167 billion, sales profit by 9.93% to RUB 13.48 billion from RUB 12.262 billion, pre-tax profit decreased by 22.08% to RUB 8.477 billion from RUB 10.878 billion in H1 2012.
JSC Moscow United Electric Grid Company (MOESK, tax number: 5036065113) is the largest interregional distribution network company of Russia which is among three major power companies of the country. MOESK provides services to 98% of Moscow consumers and 95% of consumers in Moscow region. Its basic profile is providing electric power transmission and power connection services.
The company operates more than 607 main high-voltage substations with voltage of 35/110/220 kV. The spread of the 35-220 kV transmission lines is 15,590 km, the spread of high-voltage 35-110-220-500 kV cable lines is 1,408 km, with 121,145 km of distribution electric networks and over 30 thousand distribution and transformer substations. The company employs 15.7 thousand people.
The major shareholders of MOESK are: JSC Russian Grids (51%), Gazprom Group (31%) and a group of companies of the Moscow Government (8%), the free float being over 8%.
IFRS net profit of MOESK for 2012 grew by 5.03% to RUB 18.95 billion from RUB 18.043 billion the year before. Revenue decreased by 3.12% to RUB 125.324 billion from RUB 129.366 billion, operating profit increased by 4.28% to RUB 26.186 billion from RUB 25.11 billion, pre-tax profit by 8.33% to RUB 25.397 billion from RUB 23.445 billion
According to the information and retrieval system DataCapital, RAS net profit of OJSC MOESK for 2012 increased by 0.77% to RUB 17.184 billion from RUB 17.053 billion the year before. Revenue decreased by 6.75% to RUB 118.008 billion from RUB 126.546 billion, sales profit increased by 1.02% to RUB 25.703 billion from RUB 25.444 billion, and pre-tax profit decreased by 4.46% to RUB 20.93 billion from RUB 21.908 billion.
