The discussion of the Ust Luga Port perspectives held within the Russia and Baltics Port Expansion Summit concerned new logistic opportunities, regional government informed.
The Port is pushing upward the cargo turnover to reach 70mln ton this year; the building of the terminals being close to the end. The project stipulates the formation of 5 tied clusters by 2030. Over the 9-month period the cargo turnover moved up 36%. The project demands 193bn rub. by year end.
The building is provided on the basis of the state-private partnership.
The general plan includes 20 sea terminals of 180mln t/y in the capacity.
The Port (TIN 4707018000) is a sub of Transport Logistic Complex set up for the development of the Yug-2 multi-profile loading complex and building of the logistic center.
