Catch of aquatic bioresources in Russia up 1.2% YoY to 3.958 million tonnes

The catch of aquatic bioresources by Russian fishing companies since January 1 increased by 1.3% year-on-year to 3.958 million tonnes, according to the data provided by the Federal Agency for Fishery (Rosrybolovstvo).

In particular, the catch of aquatic bioresources was 2.95 million tonnes in the Pacific / Far Eastern Basin (-32.5 thousand tonnes year-on-year), 566.7 thousand tonnes in the Northern Basin (+25.9 thousand tonnes year-on-year); 38.1 thousand tonnes in the Baltic Sea (-4.8 thousand tonnes year-on-year), 27.3 thousand tonnes in the AzovBlack Sea Basin (+1.3 thousand tonnes), 35.5 thousand tonnes in the Caspian Basin (+3.3 thousand tonnes year-on-year).

Catch in other countries' waters under fishing quotas was 425.2 thousand tonnes (+65.7 thousand tonnes year-on-year).
