Gazprombank placed bond issue 4 of Euro Commercial Papers (the nominal amount being $95 million) maturing in 2014 through GPB Finance PLC, the bank informed.
OJSC Gazprombank (GPB, tax number: 7744001497) established in 1990 is among the three largest banks of Russia in terms of financial performance, and ranks third among the largest banks of Central and Eastern Europe. The regional network of Gazprombank includes 43 branches and 5 subsidiary or affiliated banks. Besides, Gazprombank has shares in three foreign banks: Belgazprombank (Belarus), Areximbank (Armenia) and Gazprombank (Switzerland) Ltd. Also, the bank has launched representative offices in China, Mongolia and India.
The bank's shareholders are: OJSC Gazprom (35.54%), NPF Gazfond (47.38%), Vnesheconombank (10.19%), the management team (0.56%). The bank's authorized capital is RUB 24.553 billion.
IFRS net profit of Gazprombank Group for 2011 decreased by 38.4% to RUB 40.832 billion from RUB 60.263 billion for 2010. Net profit (IFRS) of the Gazprombank group for H1 2012 decreased 3.6-fold year-on-year to RUB 10.6 billion from RUB 38.1 billion.
Net profit (RAS) of Gazprombank for 2012 (net of events after the balance sheet date) increased by 30% year-on-year to RUB 51 billion.
