Serbia assigns special status to South Stream.

Serbia intends to assign special status to South Stream project in the nearest time, as it was informed after the meeting of A.Miller and D.Bayatovich (Serbiagaz).

The parties discussed realization of the project in Serbia territory. It will be assigned with national interest status in short term.

Besides, gas shipment to Serbia was considered. In 2012 Gazprom shipped 0.74bn m3 to this country.

Gazprom (TIN 7736050003) is the largest gas company in the world. The share capital is equal to 118.367bn rub. split in 23673512900 common stocks of 5 rub. par. The working interest is held by the government. In 2010 Gazprom gushed out 508.6bn m3 of gas.

The IH 2012 net profit (IAS) dropped 33% to 525.526bn rub. from 785.202bn rub. prior year period; revenues from sales being down 5% to 2.23tril rub.; net revenues from sales declined 15% to 1.245tril rub. which can be explained by the reduction of the gas sales by 10% (8.7bn m3).

The 9-month 2012 net profit (RAS) declined 7.6% to 510.249bn rub. from 552.814bn rub. prior year period; revenues added 3.9% to come to 2.632tril rub. from 2.534tril rub.; gross profit dropped to 1.399tril rub. from 1.436tril rub.; revenues from sales coming to 2.021tril rub. from 2.013tril rub.
