The coal sales in 2012 declined 4% to 10.2mln ton against 10.66mln ton prior year due to the drop in the demand on the export market which prompted reduction of the shipment by 8% to 5.91mln ton from 6.45mln ton. The sales on the internal market moved up 2% to 4.29mln ton from 4.21mln ton. The exports plunged from 61% to 58%. The average coal price was fixed at 1294 rub./ton or 5% higher 2011 figures (1228 rub./ton).
Kuzbasskaya Fuel Company (TIN 4205003440) is one of the largest coal makers in Kemerovsky reg. and Russia. It includes Vinogradovsky Pit, TEK Meret Transport Company, heat supply entities in Kuzbass, Novosibirsk, Omsky and Altaisky regions, Cascade-Energo Heat Energetic Company.
In 2011 402mln ton of coal were extracted. The proved and tentative reserves reach 185mln ton.
The 2011-net profit (IAS) rose 2.45 fold to 2.018bn rub. from 823mln rub. prior year; revenues increased 69.1% to 23.939bn rub. from 14.16bn rub.; EBITDA - 83.3% to 3.911bn rub. from 2.134bn rub.; net debts moved up 51.8%% to 2.663bn rub. from 1.754bn rub.
The 9-month 2012 net profit (RAS) moved down 18.69% to 1.04bn rub. from 1.279bn rub. prior year; revenues rose 0.81% to 14.499bn rub. from 14.383bn rub.; profit from sales dropped 17.52% to 1.638bn rub. from 1.986bn rub.; pretax profit - 18.4% to 1.313bn rub. from 1.609bn rub.
