Gas production in Russia up 2.6% to 64.8 bcm in January

In January 2013, gas production in the Russian Federation increased by 2.6% year-on-year to 64.8 bcm, the Federal State Statistics Service informed.

LNG production decreased by 5.3% to 1 million tonnes.
It will be recalled that gas production in the Russian Federation decreased by 2.7% to 653 bcm in 2012. OJSC Gazprom, the largest gas producer in the Russian Federation, reduced production by 5.1% to 482.3 bcm.
