In December 2012, Russia was the largest oil producer with daily output of 10.22 million barrels, the Federal State Statistics Service reported referring to the OPEC data.

The OPEC countries daily produced 30.365 million barrels of oil in December, Saudi Arabia alone produced 9.211 million barrels.

In December 2012, effective export oil price was $735.7 per tonne (97.9% of the November price). In the global market, Urals cost $790.8 per tonne (100% of the November price).

In 2012, the relative weight of oil exports was 34.5% in RUssia's total exports in 2012, 49% in exports of fuel and energy products (against 35.2% and 50.2%, respectively, in 2011)
