M&A: Ural-Siberian Metallurgical Company increased stake in Kuznetskie Ferrosplavy

Ural-Siberian Metallurgical Company LLC (USMK) increased its share in the authorized capital of OJSC Kuznetskie Ferrosplavy to 94.741% from 91.721%, Kuznetskie Ferrosplavy informed.

OJSC Kuznetskie Ferrosplavy (name as per Articles, tax number: 4216001565) manufactures ferrosilicium and microsilica, the factory was established in 1942. Its authorized capital is currently RUB 4.030 billion represented by 65,800,539 common shares and 1,371,700 preferred shares at par value of RUB 60 each.

According to the information and retrieval system DataCapital, net profit (RAS) of Kuznetskie Ferrosplavy for January-September 2012 was RUB 110.773 million against a loss of RUB 348.847 million for 9 months 2011. Revenue rose by 9.01% to RUB 10.259 billion from RUB 9.411 billion, sales profit 4.89-fold to RUB 469.641 million from RUB 96.007 million, pre-tax profit was RUB 182.115 million against a loss of RUB 417.378 million.
