VEK increased the exports.

Eastern Energetic Company (VEK included into Inter RAO UES Group) as Russian energy export operator in the Far East managed to double the exports, the company informed.

Above 3bn kWh were exported; the major portion (2.63bn kWh) being transferred to China.

In 2012 above 393mln kWh were exported to Mongolia. The contracts with the latter are in force from 2011 due to the expansion of the Inter RAO activity in the region.

Eastern Energetic Company is a Russian energy export operator to China. It is a wholly-owned Inter RAO UES sub. The main project is aimed to push upward energy exports as a main point of the Far East development.

Inter RAO UES (TIN 2320109650) was formed in May 1997 by RAO UES as a founder. It is the largest export/import operator in Russia and has a great number of energy assets in Russia and abroad.

The share capital is worth 272.997bn rub. (par value of common stocks being equal to 0.02809767 rub. each). The major holders include Inter RAO Capital (Inter RAO UES sub) - 30%; FSK UES - 15.12%, Russian Property Agency - 14.8%, Nornickel - 11.14%; Atomstroiexport - 7.3%, VEB - 5.4%, RusGidro Group - 5.3%.

The 2012 net profit (RAS) climbed down 9.9 fold to 14.4bn rub. from 143.1bn rub. prior year period; revenues dropped 41.8% to 42.7bn rub. from 73.4bn rub.; gross profit - 40.5% to 7.5bn rub. from 12.6bn rub.

The IH 2012-net losses (IAS) reached 10.2bn rub. against 50bn rub. in profit prior year; revenues dropped 3.2% to 264.6bn rub. from 273.3bn rub.; operating expenses moved up 5.3% to 274.7bn rub. from 260.9bn rub.
