OJSC Gazprom completed the sale the 76.48% stake in Zapsibgazprom to Metropol Group, according to a statement made by Gazprom.
On January 9, the gas company reduced its share in the authorized capital of Zapsibgazprom to 0.21% from 76.69%.
According to previous reports, Gazprom put up 76.69% of the shares in Zapsibgazprom for sale, the asking price being RUB 0.3 billion. In December, Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service permitted Metropol Group to acquire up to 76.69% of Zapsibgazprom shares from Gazprom.

Zapsibgazprom (tax number: 7203001796) is one of the largest subsidiaries of OJSC Gazprom operating for 35 years in more than 20 subjects of the Russian Federation. It comprises gas network development and construction companies, manufacturing enterprises, R&D institutions and social enterprises undertaking the design and construction of gas networks, development of the gas network across residential and industrial properties, production of energy efficient gas equipment.
According to the information and retrieval system DataCapital, net profit (RAS) of Zapsibgazprom for Q1 2012 increased by 24.93% to RUB 53.569 million from RUB 42.876 million for the same period in 2011. Revenue decreased 2.47-fold to RUB 47.601 million from RUB 117.698 million, sales loss 6.1-fold to RUB 21.173 million from RUB 129.190 million.
Gazprom (tax number: 7736050003) is the world's biggest gas company. Its authorized capital is RUB 118.367 billion 23,673,512,900 common shares at par value of 5 rubles are issued. The state secures its controlling block of stock. In 2011, Gazprom extracted over 513 billion cubic meters of gas and exported more than 150 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe.
Net profit (IFRS) of OJSC Gazprom for H1 2012 decreased by 33% year-on-year to RUB 525.526 billion from RUB 785.202 billion the year before. The group's revenue decreased by 5% to RUB 2.23 trillion. In particular, net revenue from gas sales decreased by 15% to RUB 1.245 trillion. Net revenue from gas sales to Europe and other countries decreased by 1% to RUB 731.316 billion. This change was primarily due to the decreasing gas sales by 10% or 8.7 bcm, which was partially compensated by the increase of average realized prices.
According to the information and retrieval system DataCapital, net profit (RAS) of OJSC Gazprom for 9 months 2012 decreased by 7.6% to RUB 510.249 billion from RUB 552.814 billion for 9 montsh 2011. Revenue increased by 3.9% to RUB 2.632 trillion from RUB 2.534 trillion. In particular, gas sales revenue amounted to RUB 2.021 trillion against RUB 2.013 trillion for 9 months 2011.
