In 2012, retail sales result of OJSC Company M.Video increased by 20% year-on-year to RUB 157.919 billion, the company informed.
On-line sales increased by 56% to RUB 4.364 billion, the company opened 42 new hypermarkets.
In Q4 2012, M.Video's sales increased by 12% against Q4 2011 to RUB 50.328 billion. The company opened 14 new stores.
The company is looking forward to opening 35 new stores as well as 20 new on-line sites under the M.Video banner in 2013, Alexander Tynkovan, President and CEO of the company, was quoted as saying in M.Video's statement. According to the company's comment for AK&M, opening a new store costs RUB 55 million on average.

Revenue rose by 8.85% to RUB 47.557 million from RUB 43.688 million. Sales profit was RUB 8.729 million, twice below what the company had earned for 9 months 2011 (RUB 17.520 million). Pre-tax profit increased 71-fold to RUB 5.47 billion from RUB 76.681 million.
