VimpelCom Ltd. confirmed its intention to pay dividends of at least $0.8 per share of common stock in 2012-2014, the company informed.
VimpelCom Ltd. VimpelCom is engaged in activities worldwide in territories with the total population of about 780 million. The company provides services under brands Beeline, Kievstar, djuice, Wind, Infostrada, Mobilink, Leo, Banglalink, Telecel and Djezzy. The company's subscriber base contains 212 million entries on a combined basis. VimpelCom's shares are listed on NYSE (VIP).
Telenor holds 42.95%, Altimo owns 47.85% of VimpelCom's voting shares.
Net profit (IFRS) of VimpelCom for Q3 2012 increased 2.85-fold to $538 million from $189 million for the same period in 2011. Revenue decreased by 6% to $5.747 billion from $6.096 billion. EBITDA decreased by 2% to $2.53 billion from $2.572 billion, EBITDA margin increased to 44% from 42.2%.
