Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service satisfied the application of OJSC Gazprom Gazoraspredelenie for the acquisition of 55.26% of the voting shares in CJSC Tulagorgaz.
As a result of this transaction, Gazprom Gazoraspredelenie will increase its voting stake in the Tula company to 86.375%.
CJSC Tulagorgaz (Tula) delivers, transports and sells gas to consumers.
OJSC Gazprom Gazoraspredelenie (previously Gazpromregiongaz, tax number: 7838306818) is the largest gas distribution holding of the country consisting of 261 affiliates and subsidiaries. The company operates a network of about 630 thousand km in 66 regions of the country. In 2012, consolidated net profit of the company's gas distributing organizations will reach RUB 2.4 billion, CEO of Gazprom Gazoraspredelenie Sergey Gustov announced in December.
According to the information and retrieval system DataCapital, net loss (RAS) of Gazprom Gazoraspredelenie for 2011 was RUB 932.1 million against a profit of RUB 1.334 billion for 2010. Revenue increased by 32.27% to RUB 10.506 billion from RUB 7.942 billion, sales loss was RUB 994.540 million against a profit of RUB 933.529 million for 2010.
