Solikamsky Magnesium Plant BOD elected I.Tikhonov as a chairman at the sitting Mar. 1, the company informed.

The agreement with Raiffeisenbank on the banking guarantee in the volume of 300mln rub. in favor of Uralkaliy was approved.

Solikamsky Magnesium Plant (SMZ) (TIN 5919470019) covers 40% of the Russian magnesium market as well as of tantalum and niobium.

The 9-month 2012 net profit (RAS) tumbled 4.03 fold to 414.017mln rub. from 1.669bn rub.; revenues - 24.8% to 3.933bn rub. from 5.23bn rub.; profit from sales - 3.52 fold to 573.536mln rub. from 2.02bn rub.; pretax profit - 3.98 fold to 502.25mln rub. from 1.997bn rub.
