OJSC Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant (LSE, MICEX: CHZN, tax number: 7448000013) is the largest manufacturer of zinc metal in Russia.
The authorized capital of the enterprise is RUB 54.195 million represented by 54,195,410 common shares at par value of 1 ruble. In September 2009, Arkley Capital S.a.r.l. (Luxembourg) sold 100% of NF Holdings B.V., the owner of 58% in Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant, to OJSC Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company and CJSC Russian Copper Company. The company's common stock is listed on the RTS, GDRs on the LSE.
Net profit (IFRS) of OJSC Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant for January-September 2012 decreased 2.25-fold to RUB 506 million from RUB 1.141 billion the year before. Revenue decreased by 1.59% to RUB 9.594 billion from RUB 9.749 billion, pre-tax profit 2.34-fold to RUB 601 million from RUB 1.409 billion, EBITDA by 39.73% to RUB 1.235 billion from RUB 2.049 billion, EBITDA margin was 13% against 21% the year before.
According to the information and retrieval system DataCapital, net profit (RAS) of OJSC Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant for January-September 2012 decreased 2.46-fold to RUB 516.142 million from RUB 1.27 billion. Revenue decreased by 3.31% to RUB 7.834 billion from RUB 8.102 billion, sales profit 2.08-fold to RUB 620.306 million from RUB 1.293 billion, pre-tax profit 2.16-fold to RUB 657.63 million from RUB 1.419 billion.
