In January 2013, Russia was the largest oil producer with daily output of 10.161 million barrels, the Federal State Statistics Service reported referring to the OPEC data.

The OPEC countries daily produced 30.32 million barrels of oil in December, Saudi Arabia alone produced 9.105 million barrels.

In January 2013, effective export oil price was $748.1 per tonne (101.7% of the December price). In the global market, Urals cost $816.2 per tonne (103.2% of the December price).
