Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service granted the application of OJSC Multiregional TransitTelecom (MTT) for the acquisition of 60% of the voting shares in CJSC Sinterra Media, the regulatory body informed.
Today, PromSvyazCapital's subsidiary Synterra Cyprus Limited owns 60% of Sinterra Media shares.
OJSC Multiregional TransitTelecom (MTT, name as per Articles, tax number: 7705017253) is a long-distance and international telecommunications operator. The company provides services using a countrywide multiservice network with points of presence in all regions of Russia. Since its establishment in 1994, MTT has been providing local and long-distance communication services to mobile service providers as well as additional data transmission services. In 2005, the company obtained a license for providing long-distance and international telecommunication services to ultimate consumers all over the Russian Federation. Today, MTT also correlates the networks of mobile and fixed-line telephony service providers in the Russian Federation including foreign telecom operators. According to the information and retrieval system DataCapital, RAS net loss of MTT for 2012 grew by 1.3% to RUB 644.409 million from RUB 635.993 million for 2011. Revenue increased by 8.7% to RUB 11.759 billion from RUB 10.813 billion.
