Gazprom launched Kirinskoe field in Sakhalin, the company informed.
The development of this field is included into the Eastern program and
Sakhalin-3 project. The program is aimed to provide gas supply to the public centers in the Eastern Siberia and Far East along with the gas export to the Asia-Pacific market.
The field is located on the Sakhalin shelf. It keeps 162.5bn m3 of gas and 19.1mln ton of gas condensate; the output can reach 5.5bn m3/y. The unique sub-water drilling complex made at Vyborgsky Shipyard is used.
Gazprom (TIN 7736050003) is the largest gas company in the world. The share capital is equal to 118.367bn rub. split in 23673512900 common stocks of 5 rub. par. The working interest is held by the government. In 2012 Gazprom reduced output 5.1% to 482.251bn m3 of gas.
The 2012 net profit of the holders (IAS) declined 10% to come to 1.183tril rub; revenues from sales moved up 3% to 4.764tril rub.
It can be explained by 10% in the gas sales cut-down (8.7bn m3).
The IH 2013 net profit (RAS) rallied down 35% to 250.144bn rub. from 383.126bn rub. prior year; revenues rose 5% to come to 1.921tril rub. from 1.825tril rub.
