The average consumer prices in the Russian Federation increased by 0.1% from October 22 to 28, by 5.3% since January 1, 2013, the Federal State Statistics Service informed.
In 2012, consumer prices increased by 0.5% since the start of the month, by 0.5% in September, by 5.7% since the start of the year.
Last week, chicken eggs went up in price by 3.8%, sour cream, quark, heat-treated milk, butter and cheeses by 0.3-0.6%.
At the same time, granulated sugar became 0.6% cheaper, chicken, sunflower oil, buckwheat 0.2% cheaper.
Fruits and vegetables did not change in price on average. In particular, bulb onion, potatoes went up in price by 1.1% and 1%, respectively, while apples and cabbage became 0.4% and 0.2% cheaper, respectively.
