Petroñhina (China) considers probability to acquire the minority in Gazrpom and Rosneft for $10bn, as it was informed by Bloomberg Agency.
Petroñhina is ready to buy the shares in gas fields located in the Eastern Siberia.
Last week Gazprom and CNPC signed an agreement on the basic terms of narual gas shipment to China by the "eastern" route. The export terms were coordinated. The contract is assumed to be settled by year end.
Petrochina is a sub of CNPC which is a wholly-owned government company and one of the leading integrated oil/gas producers in the world.
Gazprom (TIN 7736050003) is the largest gas company in the world. The share capital is equal to 118.367bn rub. split in 23673512900 common stocks of 5 rub. par. The working interest is held by the government. In 2012 Gazprom reduced output 5.1% to 482.251bn m3 of gas.
The 2012 net profit of the holders (IAS) declined 10% to come to 1.183tril rub; revenues from sales moved up 3% to 4.764tril rub.
It can be explained by 10% in the gas sales cut-down (8.7bn m3).
