It was noted that Gazprom is an absolute leader by the volume of investments among the Russian oil/gas companies. In 2012 capital investments reached 1.221tril rub. under IAS against 0.5tril rub. provided by other companies.
Large funds are invested in the realization of projects in the sphere of the gas shipment and storage.
Gazprom (TIN 7736050003) is the largest gas company in the world. The share capital is equal to 118.367bn rub. split in 23673512900 common stocks of 5 rub. par. The working interest is held by the government. In 2012 Gazprom reduced output 5.1% to 482.251bn m3 of gas.
The 2012 net profit of the holders (IAS) declined 10% to come to 1.183tril rub; revenues from sales moved up 3% to 4.764tril rub.
It can be explained by 10% in the gas sales cut-down (8.7bn m3).
The 2012 net profit (RAS) declined 37% to 556.3bn rub. prior year; revenues rose 3.5% to come to 3.659tril rub. from 3.534tril rub.; pretax profit - 34% to 754bn rub. from 1.145tril rub.
