The average consumer prices in the Russian Federation increased by 0.1% from September 17 to 23, by 0.2% since September 1, by 4.7% since January 1, 2013, the Federal State Statistics Service informed.
In 2012, consumer prices increased by 0.5% since the start of September, by 0.6% for the whole month, by 5.1% since the start of the year.
Last week, chicken eggs went up in price by 1.9%, milk, quark, butter, cheeses by 0.8-1.1%, sour cream, cookies and rice by 0.4-0.6%.
At the same time, chicken meat, salt, vermicelli, lamb meat, vegetable oil, granulated sugar, millet, buckwheat fell in price by 0.2-0.3%.
Fruits and vegetables dropped in price by 2% on average (in particular, cabbage, potatoes, bulb onion, carrots became 2.7-3.8% cheaper)
