Sep. 24 Fortum launched the new heat power plant in Nyagan in operation, the company informed.
The 2d and 4th units are assumed to be in operation in 2013-2014.
Nyaganskaya GRES is the largest heat power plants in Russia. It was under building from 1990. The capacity of three units is fixed to reach 1250MW.
This project is included into the investment program of Fortum realized in Russia. The program is appraised to demand 2.5bn euro. It stipulates the building of 8 energy units all in all, which are expected to be in operation by 2014 end.
Fortum (former TGK-10, TIN 7203162698) is in operation in the Urals and Western Siberia. From Mar. 2008 Finnish Fortum Energetic Concern is a major holder keeping 94.5% in Fortum and above 25% in TGK-1. The aggregated capacity gains 3241 ME in electric energy and 12234 Gcal/h in the heat.
The 2012 net profit (RAS) rallied down 46.79% to 1.556bn rub. from 2.924bn rub. The revenues rose 14.65% to 36.842bn rub. from 32.135bn rub.; profit from sales declined 3.56% to 4.18bn rub. from 4.334bn rub.; pretax profit - 45.61% to 2.078bn rub. from 3.821bn rub.
The IQ 2013 net profit (RAS) moved up 31.36% to 1.437bn rub. from 1.094bn rub. The revenues increased 19.55% to 12.274bn rub. from 10.267bn rub.; profit from sales - 8.15% to 2.064bn rub. from 1.908bn rub.; pretax profit - 30.9% to 1.812bn rub. from 1.384bn rub.
