The syndicate involving 11 banks released the $1.8bn worth credit line for Vimpelñom Ltd. for 3 years, the company informed.
The credit will be used to refund the $500mln worth credit raised in 2011. The credit line includes the $1.65bn worth tranche which can be increased by $150mln.
The 3-year credit in the volume of $500mln for Vimpelcom Amsterdam B.V. will be released by the Alfa Bank.
The Group involves com operators providing integrated telecom services and Internet access in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Georgia, Vietnam, Laos, Pakistan, Italy, Canada, Namibia etc.
