Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service granted the application of Agrocom Group Ltd. (Rostov-on-Don) for the right to perform executive functions for CJSC Novorossiysk Meat-processing Plant, the regulatory body informed.
The transaction applied for will not restrict competition, the competition authority points out.
The core business of CJSC Novorossiysk Meat-processing Plant (Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Krai) is the production and primary processing of meat, raw products and foodstuffs.
Agrocom Group was established in Rostov-on-Don in August 2004 and consists of more than 20 enterprises. The group comprises four business units related to tobacco, meat, agricultural products and real estate projects. Agrocom also manages Primary Don, Primary Don-1, Donskoy Tabak Sales and Marketing. Its meat-processing business unit includes: Rostov Sausage Plant – TAVR LLC, Rostovskiy Meat-processing Plant LLC, Trading House TAVR LLC, CJSC Batayskoye, OJSC Morozovsky Meat-processing Plant and CJSC Novorossiysk Meat-processing Plant.
