On August 19, Mechel OAO paid coupon 7 on bond issue 15 (RUB 5 billion) and coupon 7 on bond issue 16 (RUB 5 billion), the company informed.
The coupon on bond issue 15 amounted to RUB 138.808 million, the coupon on issue 16 was RUB 324.1 million (RUB 64.82 per bond of each issue).
The issues were placed on the MICEX by public offering on February 22, 2011. Each issue consisted of 5 million securities with a face value of RUB 1,000. Issue 15 was assigned state registration number 4-15-55005-E as of August 10, 2010. Issue 16 was registered under state registration number 4-16-55005-E as of August 10, 2010. Coupons 1-6 are equal to 8.25% p.a., coupons 7-8 are 13% p.a., with coupons 9-20 to be determined by the issuer.
The lead managers are JSC Coalmetbank, Sviaz-Bank, Alfa Bank, VTB and Sberbank of Russia. The placing price is RUB 1,000 per bond. The bonds will mature in 10 years.
