In 2013 Eastern Energetic Company (VEK) increased energy transfer to China and Mongolia 29.2% to above 3.9bn kW, the company informed.
The exports to China moved up 32.8% to 3.49bn kWh; to Mongolia - 5% to 413.6mln kWh due to the higher demand among the consumers.
Eastern Energetic Company is a Russian project operator of the energy export to China. It is a wholly-owned sub of Inter RAO UES. The energy export to China is a key component of the strategic energetic development of the Far East.
The 2013-net profit (RAS) increased 9.52 fold to 380.199mln rub. from 39.949mln rub.; revenues - 38.14% to 6.671bn rub. from 4.829bn rub.; profit from sales - 3.04 fold to 293.165mln rub. from 96.593mln rub.; pretax profit - 9.16 fold to 479.981mln rub. from 52.417mln rub.
