Rosneft President Igor Sechin held working meetings with Albek Ibraimov, President of OAO Manas International Airport, and Alexander Niyazov, CEO of Bishkek Oil Company Group of Companies, to discuss Rosneft's opportunities to enter the fuel market of Kyrgyzstan.
Following the meeting, Rosneft and Manas International Airport signed a Memorandum of Understanding assuming that Rosneft will consider the possible acquisition of at least a 50% stake in the Refueling Complex at the Osh city airport where the annual passenger flow exceeds 1 million people.
Besides, the parties signed another Memorandum of Understanding for Rosneft to consider the possible acquisition of Bishkek Oil Company Group of Companies, one of the leaders in the Kyrgyz petroleum products market.
Rosneft Oil Company (tax number: 7706107510) is the largest oil company and largest tax payer in the Russian Federation. In 2013, Rosneft's proved SEC compliant reserves increased by 11.5% to 33.014 billion boe.
