Teleperformance has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Aegis USA Inc., Teleperformance informed.
According to the company's statement, the business to be acquired represents a total annual revenue of US$ 400 million and more than 19,000 full time employees in 16 centers located in three countries, serving multiple premium clients in various key growing industries in the US market.
The consideration for the transaction will be US$ 610 million at closing. Following the transaction, which is not subject to a financing condition, Teleperformance Group's consolidated debt to EBITDA ratio will remain below 1.
The transaction is expected to close during the third quarter of 2014, subject to receipt of certain regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.

In 2013, the company posted consolidated income of EUR 2.433 billion.
