Financial research agency Markit intends to raise $1.05-1.14 billion during its IPO, according to the company's statement on the website of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Markit expects to place 45,707,965 common shares. The placing price range is $23-25 per share.
The shares will be listed on Nasdaq under the MRKT ticker.
Markit specializes in the delivery of financial and analytical information. In 2013, the company's revenue was $947.9 million, cash flow from operations was $339.8 million, net profit reached $147 million.
