Moscow city is selling its shares in OAO Konnosportivny kompleks Bitza (Bitza equestrian sports center), as stated by Moscow city government's Department for Competition Policy.
The related real estate property owned by Moscow city has also been put up for sale.
The starting price of the lot (including the shares and the non-residential premises) exceeds RUB 3.304 billion. Applications for bidding are accepted from June 19 through July 24, 2014. The auction is scheduled for August 14, 2014.
The land plot on which the real estate facilities of the equestrian center and Moscow city's assets are located is 46.3 ha in area. The land plot lease contract is effective until 2052. The total area of Bitza's buildings and premises (a riding hall with 2 thousand seats, a warm-up ring, stands with 5 thousand seats, horse barns, a 52-room hotel with a restaurant, a conference hall, a shooting room, a swimming pool, a sports hall, repair shops and subsidiary premises, transport vehicles) exceeds 28,000 square meters. The lot also contains assets from Moscow city's property pool with a total area of 3,100 square meters, including a riding hall, covered garage premises, repair premises including a blacksmith's shop.
The Bitza equestrian sports center located within Moscow city is among the largest equestrian centers in Europe. Its core activity is related to professional equestrian sports.
