Gazprom started the stocks transfer from the B-list to A2 on St.Pb. Exchange, the company informed in line with the BOD sitting decision.
The emphasis is centered on the attraction of new investors. In Dec. 2013 the stocks were transferred from the out-of-the-list sector to A2-list. Thus, Gazprom-released stocks can enter the supreme quotation list.
From Feb. 2014 ADRs of the Company are under trading on MICEX.
Sep. end 2013 the government held 50.23% in Gazprom; ADRs holders - 38.37%, other holders - 23.98%. ADRs are kept by 400 institution investors in 40 countries, especially, US funds (46% of the total amount) and Great Britain (19%). The foreign investors accounted for 36% of the total investments in the Russian oil/gas sector through the Gazprom-released ADRs.
