Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service received an application of CJSC Kostromskaya Mine for the purchase of a 100% equity stake in OJSC Belon-Geologiya, the competition authority informed.
The reason for the application dismissal was the applicant's failure to provide information concerning the beneficiaries of more than 5% of the applicant's shares held nominally.
"Subject to the Competition Law, the application qualifies as unduly submitted if the applicant fails to provide the full package of documents and other information required," the statement emphasizes.
The core business of CJSC Kostromskaya Mine (Leninsk-Kuznetsk, Kemerovo region) is the production of gold and copper concentrate.
OJSC Belon-Geologiya (Belovo, Kemerovo region) is principally engaged in the prospecting, geophysical and geochemical operations related to the exploration of subsurface resources.
