As of May 1, 2014, Russia's external public debt was $54.875 billion (EUR 39.57 billion) decreasing in US dollar terms by 0.01% against April 1, by 1.6% since the start of the year, according to a statement of the Ministry of Finance.
Eurobond loans accounted for the bulk of Russia's external public debt ($40.04 billion).
Russia's debt to the official Paris Club creditors not subject to restructuring was $107.4 million, debt to official creditors outside of the Paris Club was $1.026 billion, debt to the official ex-CMEA creditors was $946.2 million. The USSR commercial debt was $22.7 million, payables to international financial institutions amounted to $1.411 billion.
