The 7-month passenger throughput of JSC Siberia Airlines (S7 Airlines) increased by 15% year-on-year to 4.502 million, the Federal Air Transport Agency informed.
Passenger turnover increased by 12.2% to 8.836 billion passenger-kilometers, passenger load factor decreased by 2.4 p.p. to 78.5%.
Freight and mail handling increased by 4.6% to 20.728 thousand tonnes.
JSC Siberia Airlines (tax number: 5448100656) is one of the largest airlines of Russia. Major shareholders of Siberia Airlines are: CJSC S7 Group (63.3%) and the Government of Russia (25.5%). The airline's fleet consists of 40 aircraft: 20 Airbus A319 airliners, 17 A320 airliners, one A310 airplane and two long-haul Boeing 767-300 airliners.
The company's branches and representative offices are operating in 37 cities of Russia, 13 cities of the CIS countries and 14 in other countries.
Passenger throughput of Siberia Airlines in H1 2014 increased by 14.4% year-on-year to 3.635 million.
According to the DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net profit of JSC Siberia Airlines for 2013 grew by 28.48% to RUB 701.998 million from RUB 546.378 million the year before. Revenue increased by 12.28% to RUB 62.721 billion from RUB 55.864 billion, sales profit 2.1-fold to RUB 2.407 billion from RUB 1.147 billion, pre-tax profit by 46.84% to RUB 992.578 million from RUB 675.968 million.
