Gazprom, Yamalo-Nenets autonomous area sign agreement

Gazprom and the government of Yamalo-Nenets autonomous area have signed an agreement, the company informed following a meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the company's Management Committee, and Dmitry Artyukhov, the governor of Yamalo-Nenets autonomous area.

The document provides for quite a number of further cooperation aspects. Specifically, the cooperation will focus on the development of gas fields on Yamal, development of the transport and social infrastructure, as well as environment conservation.

As of January 1, 2018, the gas infrastructure penetration in Yamalo-Nenets autonomous area was 48.1%. Gazprom has developed a program of gas supply and gas infrastructure development for the autonomous area to 2021.

PJSC Gazprom (tax number: 7736050003) is the world's biggest gas company. Its authorized capital is RUB 118.367 billion and consists of 23,673,512,900 common shares with a face value of 5 rubles.

The company has several hundred thousand shareholders in Russia and abroad. The Russian Federation owns more than 50% of Gazprom's shares. The Bank of New York Mellon is the depositary of Gazprom's ADR program.

Gazprom's biggest foreign partners are E.ON, BASF, Wintershall, Verbundnetz Gas VNG, Siemens (Germany); ENGIE, EDF, Total (France); ENI (Italy); Botas (Turkey); Fortum (Finland); Gasunie and GasTerra (the Netherlands); DONG Energy (Denmark); Statoil (Norway); OMV (Austria); CNPC and PetroChina (China); GAIL (India); Sonatrach (Algeria); PetroVietnam (Vietnam); PDVSA (Venezuela); YPF (Argentina); MOL (Hungarian); PGNiG (Poland); SPP (Slovakia); Serbijagaz (Serbia); Bulgarian Energy Holding EAD; Kogas (South Korea); Mitsui, Mitsubishi Corporation (Japan), as well as Shell multinational company.

IFRS net profit of Gazprom for H1 2018 attributable to the company's shareholders grew by 65% to RUB 630.8 billion. Sales revenue increased by 24% to RUB 3.97 trillion. Net revenue from gas sales went up 28% to RUB 2.12 trillion, mainly due to an increase in average prices (including the excise and custom duties) in Europe and other countries and an increase in physical gas sales in all geographical segments.
