In December 2017, a commission of Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency conducted an audit of JSC Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant at the premises of the plant, according to the agency's press service.
The purpose of the audit was to check the compliance of Mil Helicopters as a designer of rotorcraft with the Aviation Rules.
Based on the audit results, on July 9, the Federal Air Transport Agency granted certificate no. FAVT-R-6 to Mil Helicopters, which certifies the company's right to design the Mi-34C, Mi-26TS, Mi-171, Mi-171A, Mi-172, Mi-172A, Mi-38 helicopters.
Joint Stock Company Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant (JSC Mil Helicopters, tax number: 7718016666) is an aviation subsidiary of JSC Russian Helicopters located in Tomilino urban-type community in Lyuberetsky district of Moscow region. The company created by chief designer Mikhail Mil in 1947 includes an experimental design bureau, a pilot production site, an experimental and research complex and a flight test base. Mil Helicopters is engaged in the design and operational testing of helicopters.
