Gazprom, Yamalo-Nenets autonomous area discussed cooperation priorities

During a working meeting, Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Management Committee of PJSC Gazprom, and Dmitry Artyukhov, acting Governor of Yamalo-Nenets autonomous area, discussed the key priorities of cooperation, Gazprom said following the working meeting.

The parties discussed the key interaction priorities, confirmed their commitment to continuing constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation between the company and the regional government.

Fields of Yamalo-Nenets autonomous area account for about 90% of the gas produced by Gazprom Group. A new gas production center is being consistently developed on the Yamal peninsula.

In 2013-2017, Gazprom Group (excluding Gazprom Neft) invested RUB 884.7 billion in projects in the autonomous area. The funds were primarily invested in the development of infrastructure at the Bovanenkovo field, the base field for the Yamal gas production center.

The parties discussed the progress in the local gas infrastructure development and the development of natural gas motor fuel filling infrastructure.

PJSC Gazprom (tax number: 7736050003) is the world's biggest gas company. Its authorized capital is RUB 118.367 billion and consists of 23,673,512,900 common shares with a face value of 5 rubles.

The company has several hundred thousand shareholders in Russia and abroad. The Russian Federation owns more than 50% of Gazprom's shares. The Bank of New York Mellon is the depositary of Gazprom's ADR program.

Gazprom's biggest foreign partners are E.ON, BASF, Wintershall, Verbundnetz Gas VNG, Siemens (Germany); ENGIE, EDF, Total (France); ENI (Italy); Botas (Turkey); Fortum (Finland); Gasunie and GasTerra (the Netherlands); DONG Energy (Denmark); Statoil (Norway); OMV (Austria); CNPC and PetroChina (China); GAIL (India); Sonatrach (Algeria); PetroVietnam (Vietnam); PDVSA (Venezuela); YPF (Argentina); MOL (Hungarian); PGNiG (Poland); SPP (Slovakia); Serbijagaz (Serbia); Bulgarian Energy Holding EAD; Kogas (South Korea); Mitsui, Mitsubishi Corporation (Japan), as well as Shell multinational company.

IFRS net profit of Gazprom for Q1 2018 grew by 11% year-on-year to RUB 372 billion.
