The builders of the Sakhalin state district power plant-2 have completed installation of the generating equipment at the power plant: two steam coppers with a production capacity of 230 tonnes of steam per hour each and two turbine generating units with a capacity of 60 MW each, all manufactured in Russia, according to the press service of PJSC RusHydro.
The launch of the Sakhalin SDPP-2, one of the thermal power plants built by RusHydro in the Far East, is scheduled for the end of 2018.
Construction of the first phase of Sakhalin SDPP-2 is one of the four projects within RusHydro's investment program to build new power facilities in the Far East implemented pursuant to a corresponding presidential decree. The purpose of building the power plant is to replace the production capacities of the worn-out Sakhalin state district power plant that will be retired. The launch of Sakhalin SDPP-2 will improve reliability of the isolated power supply system of Sakhalin and create conditions for industrial development. The installed electrical capacity of stage 1 of the Sakhalin SDPP-2 will be 120 MW.
Public Joint-Stock Company Federal Hydro-Generating Company ? RusHydro unites 90 renewable power generation facilities in Russia and abroad, heat power plants and grid assets in the Far East, as well as power supply companies, research and development institutes. The company also holds 90% of the shares in International Energy Corporation CJSC. The installed capacity of the company's assets reaches 38.9 GW. In 2017, RusHydro Group increased the electricity output by 1.7% year-on-year to 126.961 billion kWh.
The company's authorized capital is RUB 426.289 billion. As of September 30, 2017, the Russian Government owned 60.5602%, National Settlement Depository 36.9963% of RusHydro shares.
IFRS net profit of RusHydro Group for 9 months 2017 decreased by 17.64% to RUB 30.804 billion from RUB 37.4 billion for the same period in 2016. Revenue (adjusted for state subsidies) decreased by 3.63% to RUB 268.742 billion from RUB 278.858 billion, profit from operations grew by 3.03% to RUB 48.225 billion from RUB 46.809 billion, pre-tax profit decreased by 10.07% to RUB 43.92 billion from RUB 48.837 billion. EBITDA increased by 1.65% to RUB 71.605 billion from RUB 70.445 billion.
According to AK&M Information Agency's DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net profit of PJSC RusHydro for 9 months 2017 decreased by 21.64% to RUB 33.544 billion from RUB 42.806 billion for the same period in 2016. Revenue increased by 19.7% to RUB 103.855 billion from RUB 86.765 billion, sales profit by 0.86% to RUB 47.601 billion from RUB 47.197 billion, pre-tax profit decreased by 14.57% to RUB 43.947 billion from RUB 51.445 billion EBITDA increased by 3% to RUB 60.054 billion from RUB 58.495 billion.
