FGC UES has completed the construction of a power line in Irkutsk region, the company informed.
The new Tira ? Nadezhdinskaya 220 kV power transmission line is among the key facilities aimed at ensuring reliable electrical supplies to the Baikal-Amur Mainline. The total length of the two circuits reaches ca. 300 km. The power facility will also supply electricity to oil pumping stations of the Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean pipeline.
More than 900 km of wires, 363 metal lattice poles redesigned by the FGC UES R&D Center were installed during the construction project. The increased spans between the poles have reduced the cost of construction and sped up the project implementation, the statement notes.

Pursuant to the RF President's Decree dated June 14, 2013, the state-owned 80.13% stake in FGC UES, PJSC was contributed to the authorized capital of Russian Grids (now called PJSC ROSSETI) to complete the key stage of the structural reorganization process for the bulk transmission and distribution grid assets.
IFRS profit of FGC UES, PJSC for 9 months of 2018 grew by 10.5% to RUB 58 billion from RUB 52.5 billion a year earlier. Revenue increased by 8.9% to RUB 174.4 billion from RUB 160.1 billion, adjusted EBITDA decreased by 0.6% to RUB 101.7 billion from RUB 102.3 billion. Total cumulative income reached RUB 69.4 billion against RUB 49.9 billion a year earlier (+39.1%).
