300 km of roads will be built in the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky districts of Moscow (the New Moscow) before the end of 2021, the Moscow Urban Development Policy and Construction Authority informed.
"This year, we will open three metro stations on the red (Sokolnicheskaya) metro line in the New Moscow. We expect to build approximately 300 km of trunk highways in the next three years," Vladimir Zhidkin, head of the Department for the Development of New Territories, was quoted as saying in the statement.
It should be recalled that in July 2012, Moscow city's boundaries were expanded 2.4 times southwestward as 148,000 ha of land were added to the city.
