MOEK has launched an online information service that will help Moscow residents to be aware of the timing of restrictions on the supply of hot water at their addresses due to summer maintenance work on heating systems. This is stated in the company's message.

This service is available on the company's websites, as well as on the portal of the Moscow government. It should be borne in mind that work schedules can be changed, so it is recommended to check the timing of hot water shut-off at specific addresses.

Summer prevention is a key condition for ensuring reliable heat supply to consumers and uninterrupted operation of all components of a complex district heating system in the capital - from heating stations to main and distribution heating networks, central and individual heating points, especially during periods of low temperatures outside in the winter season.

"Today in Moscow, the duration of outages does not exceed 10 days, with a legislative norm of 14 days – this is a reasonable period for carrying out work without loss of quality and ensuring the reliability of the country's largest thermal power system," said Roman Korovin, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Engineer of PJSC MOEK, quoted in the message.

PJSC MOEK is a unified heat supply organization in Moscow that provides centralized heating and hot water supply to the capital in the area of operation of the Mosenergo CHP, its own heat supply sources, as well as other thermal generation facilities, with the exception of small local heat supply areas from isolated and departmental heat sources. MOEC's activities include transportation, distribution and marketing of thermal energy, provision of activities and development of a centralized heat supply system, as well as generation of thermal energy. Gazprom Energoholding LLC (a 100% subsidiary of Gazprom PJSC) is the controlling shareholder and managing organization of PJSC MOEK.
