As of April 15, the daily volume of milk sales by agricultural organizations increased by 3.5% or by 1.9 thousand tons to 57.6 thousand tons compared to the same period in 2023. This was announced by the Ministry of Agriculture.
The largest sales volumes of 2 thousand tons have been achieved in Tatarstan, Udmurtia, Krasnodar Territory, Voronezh and Kirov regions. The average milk yield from one cow per day was 22.4 kg. This is 0.9 kg more than in 2023.
The leading regions in this indicator are the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, St. Petersburg, Leningrad, Kursk, Kaluga and Kaliningrad regions.
